Enter SITR!

SITR is a dog-tracking camera that is built in a ROS2 framework. It utilizes a yolov8 model that is trained to recognize Levi and keep him in the middle of the frame. In future deployments, the camera is mounted on a servo motor that pivots according to Levi’s location in the frame, and the annotated image is streamed to a Flask app. Finally, I give myself and any other anxious dog owner the ability to keep a watchful eye on their bundles of joy.
