Manufacturing Diagnostic Engineer

This role is all about solving problems. Each day the manufacturing line is faced with different challenges that require an in-depth knowledge of testing in Python, Bash scripting, and network interfacing. I have had the opportunity to improve the error tracking on the line so we can recognize problems we have seen before. This speeds up the troubleshooting cycle and ramps up production. I have also created a toolbox of troubleshooting scripts to automate the processes we conduct during triage.

Field Robotic Engineer

I interfaced with our clients onsite in the open-air mines and ensured that our suite of robots was working to meet their standards. Every operation was different, so it was my responsibility to monitor Pronto’s deployments and adjust the products to their needs. I also had the opportunity to troubleshoot the system during production and downtime.

Principal Robotic Engineer

I never anticipated starting my career in a chicken barn in Nebraska, but the year I spent as Principal Robotic Engineer was an invaluable experience that has fully equipped me to tackle any software or electromechanical challenges in the field of robotics. I was responsible for solving complex problems independently, working across all aspects of the robot, from vision and sensing to path planning and actuation responses. This hands-on experience not only honed my technical skills but also provided me with deep expertise in ROS2, which I see as a key tool for developing scalable, flexible robotic solutions.
